Press Accolades for Gluckstein's work and DIGNITY: "Now and then one has the luck to see a picture which has a pure beauty and makes you speechless. Or you see a picture that has a statement of impressiveness which you can even feel physically, you are deeply touched by it. Very seldom do you see photography that has both elements combined: beauty and intensive statement. So one can say without exaggeration, that the pictures of Dana Gluckstein show absolute exceptional work, which counts for sure to be one of the best in portrait and documentary photography." - Schwarzweiss Magazine "Gluckstein offers more than 90 portraits of indigenous peoples from some of the world's most impoverished and oppressed populations, managing in each frame, a rare balance of formal composition and breathtaking intimacy. Her black and white photographs of men, women, and children from Kenya, Mexico, Fiji, Botswana, Bhutan, Canada - are striking textured masterpieces of mood that pay a powerful homage to imperiled cultures...signaling our collective interdependence and fragility." - Publishers Weekly To learn more, please visit www.danagluckstein.com
